Feb 23 2016 We Deal With Stress Everyday And Here Are Some Ways To Reduce It
Stress is something we deal with on a daily basis.Especially in the modern day world with all its technology to "help" speed
things up. We get it from work, the ride to and from work, family relationships, bills, creditors, getting
dinner ready, the kids off to school...
and so on and so on until we feel like we're
going to explode or implode!!!!
But it doesn't need to be this way. There are things you can do that can help you reduce the stress in your life.
Here are a few ideas that are easy and can be done within your daily busy schedule:
1. Laugh!!! Find a way to have good deep belly laughs whenever you can! Whether its with friends, coworkers, going to comedy
clubs, watching comedy shows or funny movies on TV or the internet. I often find great belly laugh stuff on the internet
and I feel great afterwards. Laughing helps with the production of endorphins and also helps create a better mental
state for the laugher.
2. Think positive! It really works. If you're not thinking of the worst case scenario all the time and think and say positive things
the universe around you will be more positive. Look at the good that is happening in your life, rather than dwell on the
Let go of the past negatives in your life. They are over and done with and can not be changed. Holding on to those
negative thoughts and energy will only continue the build up of stress in your life!
Don't Sweat the small stuff!!!! Yes there are little things that create stress for us on a daily basis where ever they
come from,but if we don't let those small annoyances build up, let them go as soon as we get them, our overall stress
level will diminish.
3. Do something physical !!! And I don't mean throwing your "stressball" at the annoying person in your life or banging
your head against a wall! I mean do something that will help relieve the physical tension brought on by stress.
Exercise. Go to the gym, walk around the block, run at the local school track, ride a bike, or anything that works in your
schedule where major muscle groups in your body are moving. This helps generate those endorphins that help
Get a massage! Massage is passive exercise and works just like regular exercise to get those endorphins going. Plus it
Feels really good!!! As soon as I get on the table all my stress starts to melt away, and by the time it's finished I don't
even know how to spell strez.. er stress.
Get some Reiki done!! Reiki is a form of energy work that can be really relaxing and comforting. Whether you believe
in energy work or not it really works! It's a proven method used by cultures around the world.

4. Seek out support and develop a support system for you!! Seek out professional help, or even just a friend to vent to. Saying
things out loud can help release stress and tension built up. You will feel better afterwards.
5. Listen to music. Listening to music that is calming or is your favorite type of music can bring about a better mood. It reduces
stress through that production of endorphins again.
6. Meditate!! And by this we don't necessarily mean you have to sit with your legs crossed and chanting. Meditation can be just sitting or lying down with your eyes closed and thinking about how grateful you are for the positive things you have in your life or just quietly thinking of nothing. It can be guided with a audio file or with another person.
Whatever you decide to do make sure you do something positive to
deal with your stress so you don't get to the "ARRRGGG" point!
